（尼奥首次见到崔妮蒂）

尼奥：是你进入我的电脑，你怎么做到的？That was you on my computer. How did you do that?

崔妮蒂：现在，我只能告诉你，你有危险。我要你来这是要提醒你。Right now, all I can tell you is that you’re in danger. I brought you here to warn you.

尼奥：什么危险？Of what?

崔妮蒂：他们在监视你。They’re watching you, Neo.

尼奥：谁？Who is?

崔妮蒂：好好听着，我知道你为什么来这儿，尼奥，知道你干了些什么，知道你为什么睡不好觉，为什么还单身，为什么夜夜坐在电脑前，你在找他。我知道，因为我也曾找过他。而当他找到我的时候，他告诉我，我其实不是在找他，而是在找一个答案，是那个问题在驱使着我们，是那个问题把你带到这儿来。你和我一样知道那个疑问。Please just listen. I know why you’re here, Neo. I know what you’ve been doing, I know why you hardly sleep, why you live alone, and why, night after night, you sit at your computer. You’re looking for him. I know, because I was once looking for the same thing. And when he found me, he told me I wasn’t really looking for him. I was looking for an answer. It’s the question that drives us, Neo. It’s the question that brought you here. You know the question, just as I did.

尼奥：什么是矩阵？What is the Matrix?

崔妮蒂：答案就近在眼前，尼奥。它也在寻找你，它会找到你，如果你愿意。The answer is out there, Neo. It’s looking for you, and it will find you, if you want it to.

墨菲斯：我想你现在感觉自己有点像爱丽丝掉进兔子洞。I imagine… that right now you’re feeling a bit like Alice, tumbling down the rabbit hole?

尼奥：可以这么说。You could say that.

墨菲斯：我能从你眼中看出来，你能接受所看到的一切，因为你希望能醒过来。有讽刺意味的是，这差不多是真的。你相信命运吗？I can see it in your eyes. You have the look of a man who accepts what he sees, because he’s expecting to wake up. Ironically, this is not far from the truth. Do you believe in fate, Neo?

尼奥：矩阵吗？The Matrix?

尼奥：什么真相？What truth?

Unfortunately, no one can be… told what the Matrix is, you have to see it for yourself. This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
